Pupil at Didsbury CE Primary School

School Council

Our School Council is made up of pupils who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve their school.

Each year, every class will elect one representative to be a member of the school council. That representative then collects the views of their class and reports back.

The School Council meets regularly with a teacher to discuss ways that we can make our school a better place. They help to create the agenda and they keep their class informed of progress and action.

We have a School Council because we believe it is important for our children to learn how to be responsible. We also want our children to learn that they can make an effective contribution to our school community.
